You've made it this far, you might as well read something down there.

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times.

I am really starting to worry about my looming lack of access to the brilliant google.com.
I mean of all things, but really.
Over the course of creating this blog I probably used it to look up like ten different things that would have driven me crazy had I not had the immediate access to that information. Even if it was like "Mariner Lingo" and "Detox Diets", neither of which I plan to implement in my life. (--although I am kind of interested by the idea of a detox cleanse. like the "rainforest cleanse." Hell, it is probably the euphemism for "the ugliest week of self-restraint a food-loving middle-class human being may have to endure ever", but the name is pretty and so I am going to google that sh*t up.)

Also, every time I think about going to (three places in) Africa the little Lizzy-Maguire-cartoon-type parallel in my brain has a mini seizure and runs in circles.

Well now you've read my first blog.
I had many more interesting things to say here when I first began it but Africa and sleep are the only two words I can think about. No complete thoughts, any more, just those words. Good words they are too.
mmmmmmmmmmm.
